For the next four years (2020/21–2023/24), public housing supply is forecasted to be average at 20,400
units per annum. The forecast will still miss the supply target as specified in the 2019 LTHS of 30,100
units per year by a wide margin of 32%. (See Appendix II for details of public housing projects)
It is worth noting that the completions for 2020/21 is expected to be only 13,800 units, which is only 46% of the
Government’s target.
